Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) is seeking a talented Systems Engineer with extensive government experience.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Provide system engineering, technical, and programmatic expertise to UFAC on-going, planned and proposed operational intelligence missions and development efforts
  • Apply experience and expertise in system engineering and integration engineering to support development and adoption of multi-INT intelligence systems
  • Integrate and apply remote sensing systems, geospatial and geographical information systems, knowledge discovery systems, data mining efforts, and application/adoption of information technology to satisfy UFAC mission requirements
  • Perform industry trade studies to assess and identify COTS/GOTS/Open Source systems to provide capabilities to enhance the mission and address operational requirements
  • Develop or provide technical reviews and assessments of items such as: new concepts of operation, engineering designs, operational CONOPS, architectural diagrams such as operational or system views, proposals, project plans, schedules/milestones, and supporting acquisition documents
  • Maintain high professional standards particularly regarding customer communications and response times
  • Take a lead in the ongoing documentation of systems and processes
  • Liaise with software and hardware vendors as necessary
  • Provide a range of services to support planning efforts, related staff actions and coordination with counterparts within the intelligence community and across the Department of Defense

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
  • Ability to resolve complex technical problems/issues
  • Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills are required
  • Experience with Military Service, Combatant Command, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Department of Defense, and the Intelligence Community is preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Some TDY may be required (<10%)
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
  • Expert-level command of the English language
